Know your local laws!!
A Fiji magistrate has sentenced a Victorian tourist and a Fijian man to two years’ jail for what the judge called a “shameful” and “disgusting” homosexual act.
Gay sex is illegal in Fiji and carries a maximum jail term of 14 years.
Damn.. I am not into it… but there is nothing wrong with it either… and laws like this one are just fukin archaic. So pay attention when you go travelling and make sure you aren’t breaking the local sex laws…
Eg:
- In Florida, having sexual relations with a porcupine is illegal.
- In the state of Texas it is a misdemeanor if two men engage in oral and or anal sex. The same law doesn’t apply to men and women engaging in the same activity with each other.
- In the state of Washington there is a law against having sex with a virgin under any circumstances (including the wedding night).
